Free Gas? Say ‘Yas!”
According to CBS DFW, “Thanksgiving Gas Price Averages Across Texas Are The Highest In 8 Years,” so we thought to ourselves, “How can we help?”
We sent our Helpful Honda Guys out to local gas stations across the DFW -including Dallas, Little Elm, Carrollton, Irving, Arlington, Frisco, McKinney, Benbrook, Richardson, Rowlett, Plano, Duncanville, Haltom City, Euless, Weatherford and Fort Worth – to surprise Honda drivers with: FREE GAS, making them say, “YASSSSSS!”
Helping Honda drivers save money at the pump is just one more way we’re being helpful. And with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, we were able to help families use the savings toward extra food for the table. Drivers shared their thanks, saying, “I always see you guys on the commercials but I didn’t know this was real.” And, “What a perfect Thanksgiving week.” We love helping those who help others, so when one lucky Honda driver shared her story, we were so happy to be able to show her our gratitude, “I just helped my church stuff Thanksgiving boxes and now I get free gas? My morning has been made!”
We didn’t forget about our local heroes, so we also honored local Veterans with free gas – regardless of which type of vehicle they drove. “Thank you guys! It’s nice to be recognized. They didn’t use to acknowledge us veterans. I’ve never had this experience before.” We support and thank our veterans for their service and are happy to help.
With the holidays approaching, we’re going to continue being helpful. We’re giving back to kids and mentors of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Irving with surprise gifts (hint: they’re on two wheels, and can be wheelie-helpful!), and will join the residents of Dallas Life, a homeless recovery center, for a warm holiday meal.
