The Helpful Honda People have arrived in North Texas with the “Helpful Honda” campaign, compliments of the North Texas Honda Dealers. They are spreading Random Acts of Helpfulness to local residents in unexpected ways, including exclusive perks for Honda drivers! They’ve already popped into Steel City Pops in Dallas to surprise guests with free frozen treats, greeted families at NRH2O Waterpark with complimentary admission, brought Halloween to children at Medical City, and hosted a Helpful Honda Donation Match Day at the SPCA of Texas where they matched all adoption fees with an equal dollar donation back to the SPCA of Texas. The Guys and Gals in Blue are also out every week lending a helpful hand in communities across North Texas.
Throughout October and November, the Helpful Honda People have surprised loyal Honda drivers in Dallas, Irving, Fort Worth, Paris, Richardson, Arlington, Plano, Garland, McKinney, Lewisville, and Denton with a Random Act of Helpfulness at the pumps: FREE GAS. Honda drivers were in disbelief of the kind gesture and said, “Oh my god, why are you doing this? Thank you!” and “This kind of thing never happens to me!” The North Texas Honda Dealers even pumped and paid for all veterans’ gas tanks to recognize their brave service on Veteran’s Day, no matter what type of car they drove. A nearby driver who saw what they were doing said, “Wow, what a great way to thank our Veterans.” And the free fill ups didn’t stop there! As millions of Texans hit the road for Thanksgiving weekend, the Helpful Honda people surprised not just Honda owners, but all drivers, with complimentary gas. They kicked off Happy Honda Days with the big, blue Free Gas Tanker Truck and helped put a little holiday spending money back into residents pockets at the pumps. One driver was thankful for his free Thanksgiving fill up and said, “What a great surprise to get gas today.”
So what’s next? Tis’ the season for Happy Honda Days, which means the Helpful Honda People will be out lending a helpful hand to the less fortunate and hosting special holiday events with various organizations. They’ll also be popping up at Frisco Square with a surprise Random Act of Helpfulness, so stay tuned!
